Today, I had my first Chemistry SPA paper, I screwed up a little bit because I was nervous. Haizzz =(. Nonetheless, it is comforting to know that there will be two more and that it may pull up my marks if I do them right. Anyway, next week lots of test again, this is what happens when you are in triple science. I guess it is time to start mugging bit by bit from now. Hiya! Got my e maths test results yesterday! Finally, I get 20/20! Yay! However, for all those out there who got full marks too. Don't be too complacent too! =) Had data logger session (Chemistry) today, it was alright and we all came up with different group names, some weird, some funny and of cos there is RI, haha =) Anyway, other than that, played two soccer matches today, damn tired =S, missed like 5 chances of scoring today haiz... Guess I am better off playing without any shoes. ^^ Anyway, other than that, I just want to reassure that everyone who have been concerned about me the past few days, please don't worry, I am ok now. Hopefully everything that will be coming will be smooth-sailing. Life is always making fun of people, sometimes Life let people have their way, other times, Life will just take control of itself and do the opposite of everything you want it to be. =( NCC Air Part Ds, are we really united? Or are we just putting up a show? Last friday told us the answer to this question. I guess the reason for that thing to happen is because we were just not, not serious but we didn't give them ample time to practice before shooting and we left out some good traditions. I just hope that after last friday, all of you will just wake up from the nightmare and start doing things right, don't bother about the grudges you hold with each other, leave behind all differences and just work together to leave behind a legacy and in a way impact all the exisiting cadets in NCC Air. For myself, I would change for the better, I guess the real problem with me is that I lack confidence and I hope after this, I would be a better Part D PS. For Andrew, this is all I have to say
Held our first interview for secondary 3 today, it was ok but still I know they can do better than that! So part Cs JY!! =) Had an interesting assembly today too, 987 FM Radio Station came to our school for 'School Invasion', it was both fun and chaotic as there was a performance by a local rock band and we were asked to come to the front and rock on with them, in the end, it ended in fights while songs were sang, it was funny as there was fighting and singing at the same time and as mithiran and gang puts it 'RI style' ^^. Anyway, Sean was named rusty in music by Desiree because of naming a wrong artist. It was actually TheClickFive but Sean said Maroon5. Hahas! Had our NCC AIR outing today at sentosa, it was fun and tiring! =S We got there at 8.50 am, we started off with beach soccer which was super tiring. I was almost thrown into sea by my peers but luckily as I was alert, I knew that it was going to happen so I prepared myself and I got away =) We left siloso beach where we played beach soccer at, at 10.20 am and we proceeded on to the luge challenge which was a game where we were split into two teams and we were supposed to hold on to a styrofoam cup filled with water and by the end of the luge ride, pour it into out team container which was found at the bottom of the luge station. In the end, my team won and we were rewarded with sentosa luge wristbands. Next we had cycling where we were also split into two teams, fast and slow riders, the fast bike riders followed me while the slow bike riders followed bryan lian. Hiya! Had no training today. Haiz... It was a pity as we needed the time to train up the current sec 3s so as to ensure that they have the right attitude and the knowledge to be a specialist. Today, I came to know that * is going for the ***, I knew all along that he would eventually get it because all the along, I have been in a way not doing stuffs right and he will always guide and teach me not matter what happens and it is also because of this that I really hate myself, always relying on others due my lack of experience in the field of planning. =( I guess what really matters is that I try my best to do whatever I can and hopefully it will serve me well in time to come. Anyway, I am going to join YFC (Youth Flying Club) no matter what during JC and maybe the first or first and second year of University. I got back my chinese results today. Back! Just mugged about 3 hours for social studies, it was exhausting! =( Haiz... Just thinking about how much I have to study for O levels, I really shudder at the thought but nonetheless, I will try my best and I wish everyone good luck too. ^^ Anyway, today was an ordinary day I guess, nothing much except this morning, Our co-form showed us Hard Gay again, Wohoo! Ha ha.. He teach us how to be troublemakers during valentine's day, the methods he told us includes: 1. Going to the cinema, stinky and sweaty (Preferably after a soccer match ) 2. Booking the whole cinema so that couples cannot watch a movie together 3. Bashing between couples to break their link (Holding hands). I am guessing no one really tries to do all this except people who don't have a life. Haiz... Another valentine's day, mugging and doing nothing. Well, today is the day I changed physically, I shaved! This has been a hard decision to make as I have been pondering over it for at least 6 months. Other than that, I received 2 test papers today, both were bad : Chemistry: 12/20 Biology: 18/25 I made careless mistakes which cost me dearly, this is such a costly lesson to learn!! =( There was an uproar when I shaved eversince this morning around 7.30 am when mithiran discovered it first... I hope it would not affect any friendships or anything, just take me as I am my old self. ^^ Anyway, as usual I got ostracized by my some of my friends, if not made fun of. Haiz... Went to visit Mr Tan's House for CNY today with yun yi, john and marvin. His house was simply elegant and nice and I am guessing it must have costed a bomb. Yun yi and I met at AMK Hub to have lunch first before we visit Mr Tan, I had Fillet-O-Fish from Macdonalds for lunch and Yun yi had nothing cause he said that he wasn't really that hungry yet so we took 853 to Yio Chu Kang Bus Interchange and then from there we took 70 somewhere near Mr Tan's house. Yun yi, John, Marvin and I had lots of fun there, we played mahjong and cards there and met lots of our seniors there, some were there as students and one was there because he was related to Mr Tan. At night, I went to my father's primary school friend house for dinner and chinese new year, we had hotpot for dinner and we played blackjack, I won $39! =) Thats all for this interesting day, nitez and may every1 out there feel the chinese new year spirit even if they are not chinese! =) God Bless, Joshua Yeo
Gong Xi Gong Xi Gong Xi Ni Ah... Sorry got carried away. Today was a 'harvest' day, collected lots of red packets and was wished many times haha, the day started by going to my grandmother's house to eat 'mee suan', after that we went to visit my father's side relatives (His brothers and sisters). But one visit which made my realise something is when my family and I visited my mother's godmother, she is 80+ this year and lives in a one room flat with simple things, what I learnt today or realised today was that we shouldn't always be contented only with luxury but be contented with the simple things in life and the things we have and these made me think about the times when I was simply unreasonable but my parents still gave in to me @_@ I guess thats all for today, have a fun and enjoyable chinese new year! =) God Bless, Joshua Yeo
Trust, what does it mean? Everyone has their own understanding of trust but for me, trust is relying upon or placing confidence in someone or something, you may ask why am I talking about trust, it is because today I think I lost my mother's trust because of a moment of folly... This was what happened, after school, as usual, I accompanied Yun Yi as we went home and just outside school, we saw friends of ours going to LAN shop, Yun Yi asked me to go and as I was not really thinking at that time, I agreed and gave a call to my sis about where I was going today and as a usual, I got a scolding from her but in the end, she unwillingly agreed. So I went to LAN and played for about 2 hours... This was what happened in the afternoon. At night... A new day = a new beginning... Today had Biology SPA Trial, it was easy and I did it well ^^ Anyway, the judging for the CNY decorations was today, I guess as compared to classes like 4E2, 4E3, 5N1 and many other classes, we are only considered average and not great or good even when we spent near $100 on the decorations, I guess that was fated too.. Haiz... Test results came out today. A Maths : 17/20 E Maths: 19/20 Not really happy with my results but still as Lionel say ' Don't expect so much!' Haha... Anyway, today other than results, I had my Chemistry Class Test too, it was fairly easy and I almost did a big mistake, luckily, I changed the answers in time if not I would lose 3 marks for nothing =) Bryan also got his handphone confiscated as Aaron was transfering some songs to his phone however, Aaron accidentally played the music, in the end, it got confiscated and now Bryan is feeling =(, I think it was stupid of him to lend Aaron his phone during classtime to transfer some songs, I guess everything is fated, so might as well just leave it up to God, maybe there is a meaning behind all these, maybe... Woke up today at 8.30 am to find that if I don't wake up now, I would be late for church if I don't wake up now so I went to eat my breakfast and bathe. Church came and I met my friend, Joshua, we had a short chat and service began, it was indescribable, I think it was because I was still carrying the complicated feelings I had the day before to church, we had a sermon on Prosperity, on how it is being misused now during chinese new year because Prosperity is commonly known as wealth or fortune but the biblical meaning is success. Also, God out gives everyone on earth, that was what the sermon was all about. After church, I had lunch at Soup Restaurant, its signature dish which was white chicken, the one that you could eat and not what you thinking, was seriously good stuff, if you have chance go try it, I rate it 9/10. =) I went home to mug as there was a chemistry test tomorrow, after mugging for 2 hours I went to slack for about 1 hour, watching a show called 'psych'
Friend as the dictionary defines it, a friend a person who is not hostile to you and is on good terms with you, however for some of my so called 'friends', this is certainly not the case and this really spoils a big part of my secondary school life as you know school is basically two things, learning and making friends. So for all those who know that you are a so called friend of mine or others, please live up to 'friend' this word. Anyway, today went for physics and biology remedial, learnt lots of things, interesting and shocking. After that, I went to Mcdonald with two of my friends, it was seriously a big mistake I have made for the day as it wasn't a really good lunch and there was lots of sarcasm and stuff like that being thrown at me. Haiz, why cant they just look or see things from my perspective? This sets me thinking, what is life really about? It is just a very long and situational experience or it is really just a game? Ok no more screwing around but if it is really needed I will not hesitate to use it =) Today was a tiring yet fulfilling day, why do i say this? There is two parts for the fulfilling part, one is confidential and the other was that my A Maths teacher said that I could do better than what I am doing now, it is just that i don't really know about it. This really sets me thinking, can I really do better or it is just an illusion, one thing is for sure that when you set your mind on something and really go for it, you will succeed in the end =). It was also certainly a tiring day as I had a very tiring PT today and to add on, I did 100 crunches the day before the training (not to boast or anything) and after that i stayed on in school for Sec 4E/5N PIE. The test that we sat for today also was quite a notch above us, maybe chinese is really set to our standard but I didn't know that they would use the passage for open-ended comprehension, I should have just memorised the answers to
